I’m Baz Crowcroft, the artist behind BazwoldArtist. Based in the UK, I specialise in traditional portraiture that captures the grit, passion, and soul of my subjects. Whether I’m working with pastel pencils, charcoal, or bold acrylics, my goal is to create more than just an image I want to deliver a permanent keepsake that resonates with the viewer.

Creative Process

1. Reference & Sketch — Select references; draw initial composition lightly.

2. Base Layers — Build broad tones and forms with thin layers.

3. Detailing — Refine textures, eyes, hair, fur, and contrasts.

4. Acrylic/Splatter — Apply colour blocks and controlled splatter for energy (when used).

5. Finals — Adjust contrast, add highlights, photograph
